+ WHAT IS OLD MAN STRONG?

Old Man Strong Training Camp is an eight-week online program and complete lifestyle overhaul, designed specifically for men aged 40+.

I strongly believe that your age should not be a limiting factor when it comes to how strong and healthy you can be, it just takes a little bit more planning, a bit more awareness, and a better understanding of diet, lifestyle, rest and recovery.

This is not a quick fix weight loss program, this is an in-depth guide to building a healthy, strong, injury free body, and getting in the best physical and mental health of your life.

• Form healthy habits, learn how to manage stress, sleep better and build a better routine.

+ WHY MEN ONLY?

I decided to build this program for an age demographic that I believe doesn’t get enough attention in the fitness industry.

I know how many men look to social media for a new workout or a big life change. The reality is that the average 'fitness influencer' putting out content is well under the age of 30, and while some of that content is well informed and not completely out of reach, I hear one too many horror stories about men my age and older getting injured following a program they found online.

I see how many men die early from heart diseases brought on by an unhealthy lifestyle.

I know how many men are dying from suicide. I know how much exercise helps mental health; and I know how many men my age and older, don’t exercise at all.

I wanted to build this program for a demographic that I truly know and understand best, because I am in it!

Lastly, having spent over 20 years in this industry, I have witnessed first hand that women are much more likely to seek help from trainers and attend group classes.

Men, we have a harder time letting go of the ego, admitting we don’t know what we’re doing and that sometimes we need help. I know this myself from personal experience… and I want to change it. I want it to be normal for men to open up and say they need help with their physical and mental health. This program is my life’s work so far, sharing all I have learned in the gym and in life to help men live a longer and healthier life.

+ WHY DO YOU NEED THIS PROGRAM?

As someone within the 40+ age bracket, with over half my life spent training; and all of my adult life in the fitness industry, I have a few battle scars, a few old injuries, and I’ve also had a couple of major bumps in the road that have stopped me from training completely at times. So, while I have kept in pretty good shape for most of that time, over the past few years I have developed a much deeper understanding and awareness of my body, and what exercise and movement really means to me at an older age.

Right now, I would consider myself to be in the best shape of my life.

As we age, our bodies don’t recover as quickly as they used to. We may have some mobility issues from periods of inactivity. Our testosterone levels start to naturally decrease after the age of 40 which can affect energy levels and how we build muscle.

The good news is, this doesn’t mean you can’t still get in the best physical and mental health of your life! By entering into a strength training program, increasing activity levels and developing healthier diet choices, you can even reverse or delay those factors. You just have to be a little smarter about it.

The ‘Old Man Strong’ Training Camp will take you far beyond 8 weeks. This program will act as a guide to continue being strong, healthy and mobile for many years to come.

  • An individual eight-week (two 4-week phase) workout program delivered straight to your phone/tablet through my personal app, with easy to follow videos and extensive notes, tailored specifically to your starting fitness level, gym experience, access to equipment, and goals.

  • Detailed data tracking through the app to keep track of all your progress.

  • Comprehensive framework to help better understand nutrition, daily caloric intake and daily energy expenditure. This is not a structured diet, or a quick fix weight loss plan, it’s a guide to help you develop healthy habits that aren’t restrictive.

  • Direct messaging with me through the app to answer questions, give video analysis and feedback, share wins and keep you accountable!

  • Weekly wellness check in’s and challenges to ensure you are always levelling up.

  • Access to the ‘Old Man Strong’ private community group where you can connect with other men following the program and on the same track to bettering themselves.
